Can I replace the bulbs?
It depends on the product. The featured 15 LED set has replaceable E27 S14 bulbs. The 20 LED vintage set has non-replaceable bulbs. Use only suitable replacements for products designed to accept them.
Can I connect several festoon light sets?
Some sets can connect end to end, within their stated limit. Check the exact system, total load and power supply. Twinkly Plus S14 strings are not daisy-chain extendable: each connects to a separate controller port.
Do festoon lights need a transformer or controller?
Low voltage sets need a compatible transformer; check whether it is included. The featured vintage set requires one sold separately. Twinkly Plus S14 festoons need a compatible controller and power supply, also sold separately. Check mains powered sets for their lead requirements.
Can I use festoon lights outdoors?
Choose a product confirmed for outdoor use and follow its fitting instructions. Check the ratings and location requirements for the bulbs, cable, connections and power supply. An outdoor rating does not make every installation suitable for all weather or permanent use.
